The library at Ark Globe Academy is open to all students Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm. Apart from its main function as resource centre, where the students can read, borrow books, complete their homework and do research on the computers, the library also serves as a safe environment for all students who feel the need to retreat to a quiet and friendly place.
The library is also running the Accelerated Reader programme for the school, where students have the chance to take quizzes on the books they read. Years 7-9 classes usually also have a chance to do this during their library lessons once a week.
Tronador classes visit the library by arrangement between the class teacher and the librarian.
The library is open to secondary students at the following times:
- Before school from 08:00am–08:25am
- Break time from 10:45-11:00am
- Lunchtime from 13:00–13:35
- After school from 15:30–17:00
- Homework club until 5.00pm every Wednesday

Run by qualified youth-workers, this is the club to come to if you would like help with homework, revision or research. When you’ve finished your work you can play brain games and take part in competitions. No need to book, just turn up.
Book Club - Thursday 3:45-4:30pm
