Not posh enough for the job?
We recently appeared on Channel 4 News in the report, 'Not posh enough for the job'. At Ark Globe Academy we are committed to preparing our students for university and to be leaders in their community. With reports from employer groups like the CBI demonstrating that too many young people leave school underequipped for the world of work (http://bit.ly/1s7HHWh) we are dedicated to ensuring that all our students leave us with the necessary skills and behaviour to enable them to reach their full potential beyond our school gates. Closing the gap between education and the world of work is a critical part of this.
On Thursday 25 June 2015 we are holding a Business Breakfast where our Principal, Matt Jones and guest speaker, Paul Marshall, Chairman, Ark Schools and Lead Non-Executive, Department of Education, will be discussing the role business can play in education. At the Breakfast, attendees will also have the opportunity to find out more about Ark Globe Academy and how together we can develop the skilled workforce of the future.
Would you like to attend? Please contact Harriet Stokes on 020 7940 5101 or firstname.lastname@example.org for more details. If you are unable to attend the Business Breakfast on this occasion but would be interested in working with or hearing more from us please get in touch.
