Chicks in the Nursery

Our nursery children had a number of guest residents just before the Summer Half Term. 10 eggs arrived at our nursery in their special environment. After resting in the incubator, eggs started to hatch one by one, observed by Nursery students with a great interest. The chicks then were transferred from the incubator to the brooding unit. This was a massively exciting part of the process! Our nursery children were very careful when handling the chicks and they enjoyed this interaction immensely. The chicks have been sent to happily grow up in a farm in London.
